Old account reactivation
I was given an account that is rather old. He has not logged into it for years. (he quit 6 mo. after starting). He gave me his email and password, but when I type them in, the message says "email not found". What am I doing wrong? I have never played GW, but I did play the 14 day trial about a month ago. (this is how I got this account when I told my friend that I am going to buy the game and he gave me his). I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the download client, but it still will not work. Do I need the original disks? Is the client the same as it was 2 years ago? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks! Lazrguy |

he probably misspelled his email or password. common mistake. from my knowledge of GW, the client is the same (you can download from guru) and the only reason you would wants disks is because they make the installation go faster. He could have also completely lied to you and gave you fake login info, but then what friend would do that?

the client is the same for everyone.....the email and password are what is different.
You shouldnt get a copy from anyone else (its against the eula really)....and it maybe that your friend forgot his email---or gave it to you wrong...... Just go and get your own copy, then you can use your own email and such with no worries!

I agree: just buy your own copies and start fresh.

The "account name", although it is in the form of an e-mail, is not necessarily an active e-mail address. |

Try the details on the plaync master site.
Or ask him for the correct spelling. |

Make sure you get the key codes for the account in case you have issues that need you to contact support. The login for the account is the ORIGINAL email he used to set up the account and the password is case sensitive.
